West Hampstead Station Upgrade

Overview
West Hampstead Overground Station is at the heart of a hub of 3 stations all in close proximity and used by 13 million passengers each year. The redevelopment of West Hampstead Station which includes a new entrance and ticket hall, overbridge, lifts and wider staircases and footways will alleviate passenger congestion in and around the site. The old station building is set to be demolished and replaced by new retail space.

Buckingham Group, the contractor, started work in November 2016 and the station has remained open for business throughout the build phase.

Planancy Role
Our planners have supported the Buckingham Group Project Management Team on site since the start of the project and play a key role in the reporting progress to the client, TfL.

Outcomes
Monthly programme updates are provided using P6 software, including earned value reports, phasing diagrams, 6-week look aheads and weekly race cards
