Selfridges

Overview
As part of a major refurbishment project, Selfridges in London’s Oxford Street is undertaking a significant upgrade of its electrical infrastructure and replacement of existing water cooled chillers.

The project also includes the provision of cooling to a new chiller plant room and modifications to the ventilation system. All works are to take place in 2015 in the store’s basement whilst it remains open for business.

Planancy Role
Planancy was commissioned to provide a detailed programme in Primavera P6 for submission at tender stage under the JCT Standard Building Contract.

The client’s brief was extended further to include a procurement, manufacture and construction monitoring role involving regular programme updates and revisions.

Outcomes
The programme was compiled following a review of the tender invitation package including systems design and the specifications and drawings for building works.
